Every semester begins with the same routine: thousands of fresh students, new faculty, and visiting guests wandering through endless concrete corridors, searching for Room 204 or an elusive basement laboratory while holding outdated PDF floor maps.
In regions with extreme summer temperatures, such as the UAE, campus wayfinding has an additional dimension: heat. Walking across open asphalt between colleges when an air-conditioned skybridge exists two hallways away is exhausting. Outdoor-only street maps do not know the skybridge exists, let alone which floor it connects to.
We built NaviCampus to solve this directly. A navigation engine designed for universities from the ground up: tracing walking paths across floors, identifying air-conditioned corridors, routing through elevators for step-free mobility, and calculating directions entirely on your phone.
